Slide #1 – Make Your Website Technically Good Enough
What does it mean to be a technically good website? It is actually two factors, one is the website crawlability and another is the website loading performance.
Concepts to follow:
- Your website should be crawlable by search engines.
- robots.txt should be accessible and syntax correct.
- Every single page of your website can be reached by clicking internal links.
- Have website content coded in HTML as much as possible, and not to use Flash, AJAX, ActiveX unless you have to implement.
- Optimize website loading performance for both desktop and mobile devices.
Slide #2 – High Quality Page Content
Content is king. High-quality content is king of king. People participated the gray SEO practices by putting articles from the content farm to their own website. The practice is not working anymore since the Google Panda update. The Google Panda update lowered the rank of “low-quality” sites or “thin sites”, especially the content farm. In return, it ranked the higher-quality sites near the top of the search engine results.
Concepts to follow:
- Pages should have clear titles and descriptions. The most important are that duplicate titles or descriptions among pages could hurt the website in SEO perspective.
- If images are being used, make sure they have been optimized.
- Writing content that website visitors like, and showing values to website visitors. Read “Write SEO Friendly Content with Keywords Contextual Targeting”, which guide you for making high-quality and SEO friendly content.
Slide #3 – Website Outreach
The purpose of website outreach is to building website reputation and visibility. It is a time-consuming process. In return, The website could generate the long lasting revenue for your business because of the established online reputation and visibility via website outreach.
Concepts to follow:

- Relationship building is a good way to get links.
- Leverage the power of social medias to make your website presence to a large number of audience.
Conclusion
The concepts of SEO best practices above could be a standard or guide. The purpose is to put search engine optimization in mind, which could help in determining what and how to implement the best SEO practices in your own digital marketing strategy.
